Code of Conduct

In addition to the rules of Darkness Realms, these are rules and policies by which we as dragons operate. Know the rules cause it would suck to get kicked out for no knowing them or for not putting out… but mostly the first thing.

1.) Know the rules of DR.
Ending up in Purgatory can result in being kicked out of the club. This of course is on a case by case basis, but it is something you want to try and avoid. If you get thrown in purgatory for flashing people, you will be safe with us… if you get thrown in for hacking the game on the other hand, not so much.

2.) Try to avoid online attacking people
Conflict is something that is often best avoided outside of war and most of it can be settled without the use of force. If you must online someone, try to only do it once and let that be enough for awhile. If you feel like doing worse than that, you should probably talk to Villain or another officer to resolve things… or take anger management courses online… or have sex.

3.) Notify an officer of the club when you think you are going to be inactive for longer than 12 days
While we don’t all play every day, and things happen in life anything beyond 12 days without some sort of notification is a bit excessive. So tell somebody or you may log in only to discover that you have been kicked from the club and all your free lunch tickets removed.

4.) No dropping Nuclear Bombs… the bombs that put entire cities in Emergency Ward
This is one of the fastest ways to be removed from D.R.A.G.O.N. The reason is because it is a major waste of resources just to inconvenience a lot of people. 1 bomb = 25 PoEs which is roughly 75k in stats to a level 39. Not to mention the people that do not have much time to play hoping to come on and level, only to discover their targets are in EW for 2 plus hours. I would rather you buy dirty movies and or an escort before buying a nuke… if you do buy those things, remember that sharing is caring.

5.) Follow the instructions and/or respond to mails in a timely manner
We all are busy and have things to do and some of us play other games, but there is no reason to not at least respond to a mail to say we got it when that mail and/or the Bulletin Board (BB) requests a response of some kind. Don’t be “that” person that we always have to be waiting on or send eleventy mails to get you to respond to one thing cause “that” person will end up outside the club.

6.) No whining
Offline attacks are fine by me regardless as to the number, meaning if you log into 200 events and they were all offline attacks, if you whine, I will laugh… mainly because when I am leveling, I do worse to people. If some person randomly hits you online once or twice… still not a problem (beyond that we may have a problem) and if you get hit by less than 3 snowballs in a row by the same person, not a problem. Outside of these contact an officer, but less than these things and you will probably not be happy with the answer you receive.

7.) Be active in the club
Visit the forums, make a thread or two, post to a thread, come to chat, randomly say “hello” to club members… grope someone. We are to be a club, not just a group of bodies that happen to have the same tag. We need to know one another. We are not going to have members that are both in the club for over 30 days who never spoke. I am not saying this has to be everyday join our groping fest, but it should be somewhat regularly.

8.) Do not discuss any club matters in shoutbox, do not ask game questions in shoutbox, and do not give out knowledge in shoutbox
Shoutbox is something that EVERYONE can see. So be mindful of what you say in there. No one needs to know what we know and don’t know or what we do. So if you want to help someone who asks a question in shoutbox, send them a private message. If you need help, rely on your own club. Doing otherwise can present problems.

9.) Honor our alliances
We already don’t want conflict outside of war as it is… what makes you think we want you causing havoc with our allies? I can explain you stealing their clothes so they have to parade around naked. I can even explain shooting them with a baby oil cannon, but hospitalizing them… not so much. So check the “Our Friends” thread and know who are allies are and what terms and conditions exist in regards to our allies. I get myself in enough trouble with our friends, don’t add to that unnecessarily.

10.) Your stats, your bank, how we do things in our club, strategies you are told, etc are all club business. Do NOT discuss them with ANYONE outside the club.
This should be self explanatory. Club business needs to stay club business period and anything shared with someone outside the club, can provide them clues as to how we do things and no one outside of our club should have any clue as to how we do things or how much we help each other. As far as anyone else is concerned, we are no different than any other club... except our members are smexier.

11.) USE COMMON SENSE
Some of us have, I do not but regardless, please try to find some and use it. This post would be way too long if I had to list every little thing not to do. So please, try to use the sense I do not have.
