Story

Apocalypse, the oldest and origin of all dragons, attempted to convince the demons and the divine to give him their blood. The reason was so they would have a chance to get the Ominous Night under control, a dark cloud believed to be the origin of the supernatural. The cloud had become unstable due to the war between the 3 sides causing Apocalypse to lapse in his role of controlling the Ominous Night.

The divine were convinced, but the demons refused to cooperate, believing Apocalypse could not be trusted. So Apocalypse created a workable serum that could be reproduced using only his blood and that of the divine and injected it into carefully selected supernaturals. Many of them died from the serum. If they did not die and their abilities shown promise, they were placed into service as Apocalypse’s guard. Being that supernaturals were the only ones able to make contact with the cloud without being destroyed and his guards were the only ones who possessed the ability to stabilize the cloud, the divine gave permission to Apocalypse’s guard to exist and continue their duties to maintain balance for the rest of eternity, but is there something more?

Only time will tell but for now, almost a millennia or so later… the original guards, those who abilities have awakened late, and their descendants... continue to carry out Apocalypse’s last order until he returns to give what may be his final command.......
